Introduction of Green World

Here is the activity of C40 Large Cities Climate Summit delegation.

Eventually, C40 Summit was held today!!

London in 2005, New York in 2007, and Seoul in 2009!!

We are so happy that this meaningful event was held in Seoul!!

It was from May 18 to May 21.

About 500 representatives of 76 large cities participated to this summit,

such as Bill Clinton, former U.S. president,

and Anna Tibaijuka, UN undersecretary general and UN HABITAT secretary general.

During the summit,

discussion sharing information about new policies and technology and seeking for direction was made

through 7 general conference such as 'climate change and climate crisis' and 'cooperation of central and local government',

and 16 sectional conference such as 'new-technological car', 'smart building' and 'waste recycling'.

Besides, the Seoul Declaration was declared,

which is based on the 2-year outcome after the last New York summit.

Seoul signed MOU with other participating cities.

It was glad meeting mayors whom we met overseas again :)

It was even so touching that some mayors visited the summit even though they hadn't been the member of C40

as they became interested to C40 through the meeting with delegation  T.T

Although it wasn't easy to do delegation activities,

we felt so much contentment while doing it!
