DAEJAYON: Building Energy Plus Village
Energy Story Education Conducted to 60 Students from University Environmental Activists
As a part of the Energy Knowledge Power Plant Project,
DAEJAYON and Korea Energy Agency conducted energy story classes for 60 teenagers
at Nuri’s House in Yeoju, Donggwangwon in Suwon, Good House Children’s Center in Ansan
Under the subject "About Clean and Safe Renewable Energy,"
Korea Energy Agency taught about the concept and types of renewable energy.
DAEJAYON conducted the "Building Energy Plus Village" education and board game.
By looking at various examples of eco-friendly villages around the world,
the students learned that villages can develop without environmental destruction and pollution,
making them have interest in the energy plus villages.
After the education, the students experienced the "Building Energy Plus Village" by
solving quizzes about renewable energy through the board game,
and exchanging energy cards.
