It is April, where we can feel the warm sunshine.
Enjoying the pleasant and warm spring weather,
we headed to Pai Chai High School to meet our new Little DAEJAYON students!
The class was with ten students from the Agricultural Science Class.
We learned about how much paper we use in our daily lives,
how it affects the environment, and what we can do to protect forests.
To make one sheet of A4 paper,
it takes 10 liters of water and produces 2.88g of greenhouse gases.
The average annual paper usage per person in the world is 54kg.
We use much paper in our daily lives other than A4 papers
such as receipts, delivery boxes, milk cartons, and leaflets
The misconception of chocolate, cell phones and, etc.
devastates forests and destroys the home of many wild animals.
Students paid good attention from the beginning to the end of the class.
Their eyes were shining and heads were nodding.
They have the qualification of Little DAEJAYON!
In the mind of Little DAEJAYON, the students felt a high resolution to save paper.
The upcycling eco-class was conducted in another place.
It was exciting to have the experimental class in a place full of nature.
There are many ways to upcycle paper easily in daily life.
Among them, we made a real milk pouch, bookmark, and scrap paper notebook.
All the students were skillful to make to the products very well.
Students focusing on the experimental class!
Isn't it amazing that we can up-cycle paper with simple tasks?
The students actively participated in the environmental class.
We hope all of you become the future generations
who protect forests and the environment by saving paper!
