Little DAEJAYON environmental education was held
as a part of a free semester system in Inchang middle school.
Have you ever heard about climate refugees?
They are people who lost their place of life because of climate crisis.
When all the glaciers on the Earth melts, the sea level will rise by 70.5 meters.
If it comes true, most countries will be flooded.
In the case of South Korea, it has been reported that if climate change continues,
Haeundae and Incheon Airport will be flooded in 10 years.
It breaks our heart to see people who have lost their lives because of climate change.
Even though the number of climate refugees are still increasing,
their position is not considered.
International policy on environmental refugees is essential,
and the basis for recognizing and accepting their existence should be laid out
in the new agreement.
Through the theoretical education,
students had time to understand and embrace the climate refugees.
Students gathered in teams, named theirs teams, shared ideas,
and came up with a realistic idea.
Please support the activities of Little DAEJAYON
who are making efforts to help climate refugees!
