PRODUCING LITTLE DAEJAYON

On a day with the high autumn sky,

we had an environmental class with Inchang Little Daejayon

who has grown high as the autumn sky.:)

Let's look into today's activity together! :)

Today's lecture is about

climate change and new social contract!

The climate change affects not only the environment

but also various fields such as society, economy and politics.

It is the new social contract

that the whole world made and promised to keep

in order to resolve the problem.

Paris Climate Change Accord on December 12th, 2015

is a good example of it. :D

After the theory lecture,

the students designed their own new social contract

by themselves.

They discussed in team

about which contracts are needed

for the environment and all fields.

The students were discussing enthusiastically, weren't they? :D

After the discussion,

leaders of each team presented their new social contract.

What kind of ideas came out?

We prepared a delicious present

for the team with the best idea. :)

Who would get the cake?!!

Of course, the results of the discussion were as good as our expectation! :D

The various ideas from encouraging bicycle to the meter-rate system of waste.

As Little Daejayon who had taken environmental class for a year,

the students considered beyond the environment;

even the economy and the society we live!

Their new social contracts were so touching!

Group 1

restriction on the number of livestock / restriction on the number of factories for the nation's total area

 campaign of planting trees / restriction on production of disposable products causing global warming

popularizing electric car / strictly prohibiting illegal trash disposal

restriction on developing nature / using online textbook / utilizing eco-friendly energy

Group 2

restriction on food waste / revision of law of restricting CO2 emission

restriction on the number of cars for a family / admitting volunteer work of garbage pickup

popularizing hydrogen car (support for its development)

Group 3

prohibiting lugging / not leaving the leftover / pulling out unused plug / using less shampoo and conditioner

saving water / putting a brick in toilet / reducing greenhouse gases / saving petroleum and electricity

not eating hamburger / not throwing away trash anywhere / using less disposable products

disposing waste water after purification / separating garbage

using LED / planting a tree / picking up garbage / using a handkerchief / encouraging electric car and hydrogen car

one generator for one house / using renewable energy / pursuing sustainable development / turning off unused lights

recycling / refraining from changing cell phone / implementing car holiday system / saving sharp lead / handing down clothes

Group 4

endeavoring to retrain the climate change

using air conditioner and heater less

planting trees / reducing food waste / implementing environmental education

rewarding corporates who succeed to reduce CO2 emission

Group 5

using online textbook to save paper

restricting water supply to public institution to save water

setting automatic lights-out system to public institution to save electricity

Group 6

separating ecosystem zone and industrial development zone

restricting human entrance to ecosystem

making developing countries into ecosystem zone(excepting large cities)

making citizens plant trees on Arbor Day and fining those who don't plant tress

Tada~!

Here's the winner of today!

It won the first after fierce competition,

as all teams proposed good ideas!

And finally,

 there was completion ceremony for all Inchang Little Daejayon

and excellence award ceremony for excellent students!
