PRODUCING LITTLE DAEJAYON

 

This is Ewha Womans University!

 

 

Today, here, ‘International Biodiversity Students Conference,’ hosted by Daejayon, organized by AIESEC and supported by SONY, is held.

 

 

Go straight on this street from main gate,

 

 

and enter the gate 3,

 

 

Then, you can come to the hall.
Seeing university students preparing, my heart flutters.

 

 

Directional signs are in places of campus.

 

 

The first section, Lee Hye-gyong, director of Daejayon and professor of Ewha Womans University, gave Little Daejayon the special lecture about biodiversity.

 

 

Next, Yoshio Etori, SONY’s Asia representative, lectured.

 

 

 

 

And, Shamus Donovan, SONY’s Asia-Pacific director, introduced SONY’s various activities related biodiversity.

 

 

After the lectures, we could listen to introduction about AIESEC.

 

 

They are AIESEC members and mentor of this forum.

 

 

 

After the explanation about AIESEC, students showed their work done.

 

 

 

 

 

They had investigated the activities of government and NGO in each country, and presented.

Each team was made randomly and prepared presentation.

 

 

It is the first team. 1 team took on New Zealand.
Students presented their contents in English.

 

 

She is Little Daejayon member.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After the presentation of students, judges commented.

 

 

All of judges offered words of encouragement to students.

 

 

Next team prepared about Russia and Arctic.
In this team, there were 2 students of Little Daejayon.

 

 

 

 

Actually, speaking English was not compulsory.

However, every student made material and presented in English, so we could see that students were very smart and enthusiastic.

 

 

Even though they were very busy for academy class, they took time out to study and present about environment. Their enthusiasm looks so nice.

 

 

Next, this team took on China!

 

 

 

 

 

Judges were listening carefully.

 

 

After the presentation of students, judges commented for students.

 

 

After lunch, each group had a discussion and drew a conclusion.

They discuss how to preserve biodiversity and ecosystem in view of government, company and civic group.

 

 

The mentor of each group led discussion.

 

 

 

 

 

They were drawing up resolution.

Winner of Daejayon’s presidential prize was New Zealand team!

  

 

And next, SONY prize.

 

 

The winner was Brazil team.

 

 

 

The last was AIESEC prize.

 

 

EU team received AIESEC prize!

2013 International Biodiversity Students Conference BIODIVERSITY EXPO with dream, passions and love for mankind ended in great success.
We hope clear and green earth now and forever as our smile.

Little Daejayon take the lead to consider and move for biodiversity which we shouldn’t forget.
They are really good example for adults.
