What relationship has between gorilla and mobile phone?

Students are also wondering what it is.

Mobile phone is really important in our lives. It is convenient and useful.
If a mobile phone broke down or we tired of it, we think that we could change it with a new one.
When we change mobile phone frequently, it makes civil war breaks out in the Republic of Congo.

Kahuzi-Biega National Park in the Republic of Congo is a habitat of gorilla.
There had been 28 gorillas in 1996. But there remained only half of gorillas in 2001.
And rest gorillas have no place to go.
Why people have ruined the national park, the habitat of gorillas?
It is because to get “Coltan” which is a necessary metal material for mobile phone.
Coltan is buried under the Kahuzi-Biega National Park. In order to get this “coltan”, humans have been ruining the habitat of gorillas and mining coltan.

Students feel pity for gorillas.
Civil wars are breaking out in Congo to get “coltan.”
It effects not only on gorillas but also on humans.
Due to the war, some lose their family and some engage in war with weapon by selling coltan.
It is a vicious circle.
So do you understand why gorilla hates mobile phone?
We should realize that indiscreet substance-using could harm gorillas.
And we should make an effort to save all substance.

Next is making a grass doll!

First, prepare a used disposable cup or a plastic jar and stocking.
Put grass seeds and soil in the cup. Then tie it up. Lastly, decorate the face of the grass doll.

Make the round face of doll.

Attach eyes and nose and draw its clothes. It’s done!
It will be cute grass doll as its hair grows (actually it’s a grass).

Take care the doll well and then doll’s hair will grow well!
Don’t make it be bald head!
