We hosted the Net Zero Festival at Seoul National University in the second semester, too!
Through the Net Zero panel, we raised awareness among the SNU students
and introduced actions they can practice as future generations.
Many students were surprised that 510 tons of greenhouse gases are emitted
due to human activity.
One of the actions you can practice for carbon neutrality is using tumblers!
We use many disposable cups in daily life
such as morning coffee for first class, tea time after lunch.
If you had trouble carrying tumblers, you can use a tumbler bag :)
The day of the campaign was the Seoul National University entrance exam.
Teenagers who visited the university with their parents
participated in the Net Zero campaign booth.
The colorful scandia moss, which absorbs fine dust, drew the students attention.
The scandia moss frame experience booth was opened.🌿
Net Zero Challenge was conducted.
After listening to the panel explanation of Net Zero, students shared their ideas of it.
They wrote the ideas after sharing their thoughts :)
Next to the DAEJAYON booth was environmental club Banggsa.
They operated the socks cuff upcycling experience booth.
Socks are easily thrown away when the cuff are stretched.
So, a zero waste and upcycling booth was prepared!
Various products could be made with the socks cuff, such as bag, tea coaster, flower key ring.
Students easily made the products with the colorful and soft cuffs.
The tea coasters were made, following the instructions of the Banggsa club members.
It is a fun experience that helps the environment
because we can upcycle things that are easily thrown away and create new values.🧶
The third booth as environment true of false quiz prepared by the Environment Union Club.
There were easy and hard questions, but most of the students got the answer!
Also, students introduced the Sharing Box that will be installed at the Student Center!
Sharing Box is a project to help circulate resources on campus.
The Sharing Box that was planned and designed by the Environment Union Club students,
drew many students attention.
It is a Green Campus Campaign to circulate resources
by freely sharing items with a short note that the donor doesn't use
and the recipient takes the items that they need.
Through this campaign we can reduce waste and carbon emission!
We ask for you interest and participation. :)
Net Zero Campus Festival with the Future Generations!
See you again with other various activities! 😊
