Standby Power ZERO KOREA

On the 21st September, the 3rd Good School Expo was held at Kintex, Ilsan.
Daejayon ran a campaign booth “Making Standby Power Zero School with Heungin Elementary School.” 

Have you ever heard about standby power called as “vampire power” or “leaking electricity?”
It refers to the electric power consumed by electronic and electrical appliances while they are switched off (but are designed to draw some power) or in a standby mode.
Did you know that abundant of power is wasted because of plugged electronics without our recognition?
That is why we, Daejayon, have made Standby Power Zero Korea campaign to let all people know the seriousness of wasting standby power in this year.

This expo was for students, so we have the subject, “SCHOOL.”
She passionately explained about standby power to the students who visited the booth.

He had the role to take a polaroid picture.
And he deliberately explained how much of standby power is wasted in front of the panel with the title of “Standby power in my house.”

And he had a speed quiz part for students who listened the panel explication.
His eye is so sharp. 
I could hear that our student friends were really fun explaining for the speed quiz.

In front of the photo zone, students could take picture with cute polar bears.

It could be a nice memory, right?

Why do I feel they are sweating just as mother polar bear?

He took the role of taking pictures, one of the most important tasks.
His job was to record all over the events.
It was really impressive for him to record here and there running all around.
Also, he got interviews one by one from the students.
He is a real Daejayon member.

Every year, 500 billion won [400,000 dollars] is wasted by standby power.
From Daejayon members, let’s try to make real Standby Power Zero Korea leading this campaign!
