17th June, 2010, Seoul City Hall public square was filled with red waves because of the world cup match between Korea and Argentina.
In addition to the red wave, “blue and green wave” attracted the full attention!
That's because 200 members of Daejayon in green T-shirt gathered to carry out “Be the Green campaign.” At this campaign, JIN-AIR, which is subsidiary of Korean Air, members also joined.
This event consisted of two parts.
First, before the game, we made mature spectators’ culture and improved environmental awareness.
Second, after the game, we did street clean-up campaign at Seoul City Hall public square.
Proud 200 green members.
Daejayon voluntarily held this campaign to make people know the environmental protection and mature cheering culture.
When the game was over, the role of Daejayon was even more necessary!
Kim Eun-kyung, a member of Daejayon who attended the campaign, said "I am just picking up this garbage because I saw it, and it’s not important who pick it up first."
All the people went back to their home, but Daejayon members had continued to pick up the trash, until the end.
Daejayon is devoted to carry out environmental protection activities anywhere.
Green wave is even more beautiful than the red wave!
