Among "2018 World Leaders Conservation Forum" programs,
DAEJAYON participated in expert session 3 of Youth Forum held from October 3 to 5.
On this Forum, IUCN officials, National Youth Policy Institute,
the United Kingdoms' BBC broadcaster and explorer
and many environmental experts participated and gave their speeches about
"The influence and importance of the future generation who participate in sustainable development".
The final stage of the forum was to discuss ways to connect nature
with youths who are not interested in the environment and to present it
in the form of Elevator Pitch.
During the discussion, the environment experts walked around each team and gave helps. :)
Paul Rose, the broadcaster of BBC and explorer said that he felt
beauty in nature ever since he was young so he eventually came to
have mind to protect the environment.
When he dived into the Arctic Ocean, he found lots of trash in the water.
So he said if university students realize how beautiful the nature is,
they'll do environmental activities even harder.
DAEJAYON team proposed following idea :
"A heart to preserve nature comes from the heart's true love for nature.
But now, future leaders have no opportunities to feel the nature's beauty
because they spend most of their time with smart phones.
So, We want to provide them opportunities to fall in love
with nature through smart phone application." :D
Through this forum, we realized our responsibility by considering
the fact that sustainable Earth depends on our concern and effort for the Earth.
From now on, DAEJAYON will go first for the sustainable Earth and sustainable future!!
Together for a Sustainable Future.
