Introduction of Green World

The 2nd World Leaders Conservation Forum was held by Ministry of Environment, 

Jeju island, and IUCN for 3 days from October 3 to 5 

with the topic of 'Cooperation for sustainable future'.

On this forum, DAEJAYON held "Green Talk Concert" on 3rd day afternoon 

at international NGO session.

Many representatives from various international organization like UNC secretary general Inger Andersen, 

France environmental ambassador, Xavier Sticker, Son Sung Hwan chairman of WWF-Korea 

and Melati Wijsen who is famous for youth environmentalist participated the forum and they discussed 

the scheme of NGO cooperation for sustainable earth.

Because of the seriousness of world's environmental problems,

NGO's role became important and formation of international cooperation network was essential.

On this day, we had discussion on our role and direction of activities for international cooperation 

to solve world wide environment problems.

The leaders of future generation, university students listened to the international leaders' lectures directly 

and had a hot discussion for the sustainable Earth.

The students stated their opinions actively with broad conversation with experts.

We could see the environmental awareness and participation of DAEJAYON activists. :)

On promotion exhibition we progressed booth.

Many people visited our booth and experienced making eco products 

like scandia moss pot, milky pouches!

Furthermore, they learned about DAEJAYON and promised to take actions 

to solve environmental problems. :)

Inger Andersen, the Director General of IUCN joined the performance too!

We can't miss the university students' heroic performance that attracted many people's attention.

They prepared performances with message of 'Let's gather our power for the sick Earth'.

For the sick Earth, the heroes gathered their power but it was not enough.

In this situation, DAEJAYON students also gathered their powers, so they could protect the Earth together!

Through the performance, we could realize the importance of our role.

It was a meaningful event that showed the power of university students who will be leaders of the future.

We will continue to do our work for the green Earth!
