Green Mother in Seocho-gu visited to the Resource Recovery Facility in Mapo and Worldcup Park.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

She explained what function the Resource Recovery Facility has and Green Mothers watched the video.

 

 

The place where Resource Recovery Facility is was a landfill and there the waste buried now.
All the waste from Seoul is sent to the Resource Recovery Facility and it is burned at high temperature fire and changed it into the energy. Actually, when the trash is burned, the toxic substance like metal substance is produced. However, it doesn’t emit the toxic substance because it is burned at high temperature which can eliminate the substances.

 

 

 

Let’s look around the facility.

 

 

Can you guess what it is? It is waste we dumped. It is the process of separating garbage from garbage bag.

The facility is controlled by the center.

 

 

 

Next to the facility, there is Worldcup Park, you can enjoy both of them.
