Introduction of Green World

March, which is full of the spirit of spring season, Daejayon members attended on the meeting, also attended by Mayor Park Won-soon, to check the present situation and to seek the improvement method of “Reduction of One Nuclear Power Plant Policy of Seoul City.” 

This meeting’s whole progress was broadcasted live through TBS, which made this meeting more special.

Full of excitement, Daejayon students had their seats.

Especially, Daejayon students were asked to come, so Daejayon was very excited about what kind of role they will afford.

And Daejayon shared the table with Deputy Mayor Kim Sang-beom.

Daejayon and Deputy Mayor Kim had a deep conversation on how university students can act for Green Campus.

Finally, with the presence of Mayor Park, 1st Session was proceeded by presenting one’s idea for “Reduction of One Nuclear Power Plant Policy” based on the assumption “What if I am the Mayor of Seoul City?”

One of Daejayon students is now presenting a brilliant idea!

And more ideas were followed from Daejayon.
One of its ideas was about energy saving through the dissemination of Timer Electric Socket.

And Mayor Park responded back to Daejayon.
And that was a great compliment. He said he wanted to lend his position for a month to the student who presented the brilliant idea.

Because of another duty for the Cabinet Council, Mayor Park had to leave the meeting right after the end of 1st Session. But 2nd Session was continued with the presence of Deputy Mayor and Director.

2nd Session was also remarked by the creative and brilliant ideas of Daejayon students.

After the meeting, Deputy Mayor gladly accepted Daejayon students’ request for interview.

And not only he did an interview, but also Deputy Mayor gave the students the word of cheering.
Students got really moved.

Lastly, there came Grand Finale of Activists’ Meeting “Reduction of One Nuclear Power Plant Policy of Seoul City.”

The student attendees of Deajayon have worked very enthusiastically on campus for “Reduction of One Nuclear Power Plant Policy of Seoul City”, so it made the event more meaningful.

It was a truly amazing chance to present the ideas and express the willingness of university students.
Daejayon wishes to have more opportunities to shout aloud the voices of university students from now on.
