Today is the second class with the Paichai High School Little DAEJAYON students :)
Today's class was specially conducted in the library!
The subject of the class is "Nightmare of Six Degrees."
According to a report released by the IPCC,
the global average temperature will rise up to 6 degrees Celsius by 2100.
When the global average temperature rise up to 6 degrees Celsius,
the mass extinction of all living beings on Earth will proceed.
Various press media are warning that global temperature rise must be prevented
from rising 1.5 degrees Celsius above the pre-industrial levels
to avoid temperature rise up to 6 degrees Celsius.
If the earth's temperature rises 2 degrees Celsius,
it loses its elasticity like a loose spring
and the temperature will rise up to 6 degrees Celsius.
So, with Pai Chai High School Little DAEJAYON students,
we had time to think and organize about what we can do as the future generation!
Pai Chai High School Little DAEJAYON students are making panels
while discussing ways that we can practice at home, school and society!
We had time to present the ways to practice to each other :)
The brainstorming panels made by students today
will be used in an in-school campaign to introduce climate crisis.
We hope that the students will become environmental leaders
who tries to prevent the terrible scenarios that are happening and will happen in the future.
