PRODUCING LITTLE DAEJAYON

Today we had the last green school class of the first half of 2021

with the little DAEJAYON students of Inchang Middle School.

The theme of today's class was "ECO DESIGN!"

Eco-design refers to an eco-friendly design that enhances product’s functions

and quality competitiveness while reducing environmental damage

that can occur in the entire production process.

Why do we have to study this?

The world's population is 7.8 billion.

If one person disposes of one waste a day,

7.8 billion wastes will be generated every day.

Therefore there must be efforts to use products longer and reduce the amount of waste.

We looked through various designs with examples. :)

Next, we had discussions in groups on "what if I was an eco-designer?"

under the theme of zero-design, multi-design,

nudge-design, upcycle-design, and altruistic-design.

It was a time to share unique ideas in groups.

Isn't it impressive to see each student confidently expressing various designs?

There are many different kinds of designs,

but they are indistinguishable in terms of protecting the Earth

and saving the environment, and this is what we should practice.

Based on what the students learned for 8 weeks, a final survey was conducted.

We applaud the little DAEJAYON students of Inchang Middle School

for their sincere participation in all classes!
