PRODUCING LITTLE DAEJAYON

Sultry summer, summer vacation that finally waited and waited has begun.
During the vacation, Daejayon conducted an environmental class

with Songpa-gu Volunteer Center.

Summer Vacation with Daejayon!
The first was with fresh middle school friends.^_^

Before we started class, we had time to introduce Daejayon to the students.
Daejayon is an environmental group that belongs to NGOs.
We strive to create a green environment from classroom to city.

Isn't it cute who are concentrating and listening to the explanation? ^^
After a simple introduction about Daejayon, we had time to watch the Daejayon Report.

The Daejayon Report is a story about the seriousness

of the environmental problems we face.
Do you all know that in 2050, climate refugees will reach 1 billion people?
To prevent a terrible future, right now, right here, we need our efforts.

After the theoretical lessons, a lesson was made to recycle paper.
Today we will make a note book, a bookmark, a snack box pencil case!
These three are up-cycling products that can be easily made without any extra preparation.

First, we made a note paper!
Friends are folding the cover of the notebook in half :)

After making all reusable paper, we made a bookmark

through the newsletter of the Daejayon.
All newsletters of Daejayon are from recycled paper.
If we recycle the recycled paper without throwing it away,

it will be more environmentally friendly :)

After creating a bookmark for each desired shape,
use a punch to drill holes and insert a string!

Beautiful bookmark is completed!
The last activity was making a pencil case.

It was very simple to cut and assemble after putting the pencil case

on the abandoned snack box.

Friends quickly made a cute pencil case.

All of our classes are finished,
the time has come to take the last commemorative photo shoot.

The first environmental class with the Songpa volunteer center ended.
Despite the short time, we were able to finish all the activities we prepared

with a high concentration of friends :)
