PRODUCING LITTLE DAEJAYON

It is still too hot nowadays although it is already September, the month of autumn.
This must be also due to global warming. T.T

Actually, thoughtless logging exacerbates the global warming.
Thus, we prepared the lecture
'Forest Dying due to Paper'
for Inchang Little Daejayon!

South Korea ranks 13th in the amount of paper use among the all countries.
Averagely, a citizen of South Korea uses 183.2kg of paper a year,
and this figure is equivalent to 3,924,996 sheets of A4.
Annually, 3~4 30-year-old trees are cut down for me,
and about 200 million trees are cut down for the whole citizens of South Korea.

In order to produce paper,
a huge amount of water, bleach and chemicals are needed as well as trees.
For a sheet of A4,
10L of water is spent and 2.88g of carbon is emitted.

Besides, many chemicals including bleach are used to whiten paper,

and it not only causes soil pollution but also exerts a bad influence to human. T.T  

Like this,

the thoughtless paper use has a bad impact on global warming

and harms our health as well.

Then, what can we do to reduce the paper use?

Of course, we need to recycle!

Nowadays, there is worldwide trend to produce a new product by recycling used paper!

And we also know how to recycle paper! :)
To reuse one-sided paper is the best way to prevent the thoughtless paper use!

So we made the one-sided paper notebook!

Many people keep the one-sided paper to reuse it at school, office and home.

But actually we often forget where we keep it

and fail to reuse it T.T

However, once we make the one-sided paper into a notebook,

it is very easy to bring and keep it.

Even it is not hard to make! :)

Just gather one-sided paper, pierce a hole, and bind it with thread!

Thus, the students had been also filled with confidence,

saying 'it is too easy! It won't take much time!'

But, they had rarely done sewing.... o0o;

'Is this right.. ?'

'Who am I...'

'Teacher, help me T.T'

Although it wasn't easy to make the notebook,

all students finished making successfully. :D

After the class,

the Little Daejayon students took out one-sided paper in their drawer

and put it into their bags to reuse it :)♥
