PRODUCING LITTLE DAEJAYON

Today, Daejayon and Daegok Elementary School met first!

 We visited the school with fluttering hearts! XD

There was Little Daejayon environmental class for all 5th graders.

It has been proceeded for 4 days, from July 13th to 16th

from class 1 to 7

with the same contents of 

theory lecture 'Daejayon Report' and experience activity 'making eco handkerchief'.

Today's teachers are

Minuk Jeong, Yujin Park and Seokgyu Kim!

As it was the first meeting with Daejayon for the students,

we looked into Daejayon's leaflet

to understand who is Daejayon and what Daejayon does.

Through the theory lecture Daejayon Report,

the students recognized the seriousness of climate change and the following environmental disasters,

and thought over why we should do environmental education and environmental activities.

The Little Daejayon students were listening intently to the class.

Then, they shared what they realized through Daejayon Report.

The next part of the class was experience activity.

Today's activity was making eco handkerchief,

which the students like so much :D

With the hearts loving the environment,

they made their own handkerchief.

This student drew the logo of Daejayon :)

Very good!! (clap, clap, clap)

These are the finished handkerchief!

When we use a hand dryer after washing our hands,

CO2, the main culprit of global warming, is emitted,

and when we use hand towel,

trees, which absorb CO2, become extinct.

Please don't forget to use the eco handkerchief from now on :D

The students are so cute, aren't they? :D

The drawing is not erased after the wash,

if you iron the handkerchief after drawing with pastels for dying.

All the students grew further as environmental protectors

through today's Little Daejayon environmental class.
