PRODUCING LITTLE DAEJAYON

We met Baeksong Little Daejayon

2 weeks after the eco-friendly T-shirt-making activity. :D

Nice to meet you again, everybody~ XD

Some students came with wearing the eco-friendly T-shirt

and made us smile :)

The first part of the class was theory lecture

'forest dying due to paper'. :)

It is paper that we use the most in daily life.

Although we use paper thoughtlessly,

it needs many things to be made.

and even huge amount of bleach and chemicals are used.

Like this, a sheet of paper requires lots of things

and contaminates the environment.

Annually 3~4 trees vanish due to me,

and 195,583,004 trees due to South Koreans.

Because of the waste of paper,

primeval forest of sub-frigid zone is dying.

Then,

what should we do

to stop the waste of paper?

There are many things that we can practice in daily life,

such as using one-sided paper or recycled paper rather than new one,

using a mug or a tumbler than a paper cup,

and using a handkerchief than tissue.

Among them,

today we recycled one-sided paper to make a note book! :)

The one-sided paper is at everywhere,

at home, school, and office!

Although we gather the one-sided paper to recycle it,

we often fail to use it again.

However, we can recycle more one-sided paper

if we make it into a notebook!

How to make one-sided paper into a notebook?

1) Cut paper into half

2) Bore a hole with an awl

3) Bind the sheets with a string

Isn't it so easy? :D

Students could do step 1 and 2 easily

but had trouble in sewing~

so that they called 'teacher!!' again and again =]

They even stood in line

to learn the way of sewing. :D

And finally, all students completed making!
