PRODUCING LITTLE DAEJAYON

2012, Little Daejayon Camp, which we have been waiting for, was held!
This camp was held from July 29th to 30th at Neorigul Cultural Village in Anseong.
Let me introduce global environmental leaders who will be the future’s Al Gore. 

 

 

This is an admission ceremony.

 

 

An environmental special lecture about climate refugees was given after having lunch.

 

After that, we took a time for showing off Daejayon’s power.
Daejayon university student teachers showed us about amazing Daejayon’s overseas news.

This summer, Daejayon teachers went to 13 countries to carry out Daejayon’s activity.

 

 

He was telling us about his activities “Little Daejayon Education” in Quezon City, Philippines.

Especially, Filipino students well drew various drawings in “Making Eco-friendly handkerchief,” so he and other teachers were very amused.

 

 

Now it’s time to play “Swimming Time.”

 

 

After playing in water and having dinner, we made eco-friendly shirts with eco-friendly paints.

 

 

The students were listening carefully how to make it.

 

 

 

 

These are completed eco-friendly shirts made by the students themselves.

 

 

 

 

It is important to hold a designing board tightly to prevent paints from spreading, helping each other.

After having the first, pleasant but hard day, we took a morning exercise and took a walk.

 

 

 

We went to swamp.

 

 

Swamp is located in Neorigul, and it was a precious time to feel the nature.

 

 

At the place, students planted a “Water Hyacinth” which purifies water.

 

 

Little Daejayon students are wearing eco-friendly shirts.
It looks good with the nature and beautiful scene, isn’t it?

 

 

The last day of the camp, we took a time for presenting “Green School Examples” of each school.

A student from Daemyeong Middle School is presenting their Little Daejayon’s activities.

 

 

Next turn is Daewang Middle School.

 

 

And a member of Little Daejayon gave us a presentation.

 

 

The leaders elected from each team discussed. From brilliant ideas to creative ideas.

 

 

The next is “Green School Athletics Competition.”
Although it was very hot, all the participants overcame the heat with their passion of winning game and played pretty hard.

 

 

 

 

Now, it’s time to close ceremony.
They are the vice president of Daemyeong Middle School and member of Little Daejayon and declared a 10 environmental pledge.

 

 

At the closing ceremony, 10 students who have been good in activities during the camp were awarded a gift certificate.

 

 

The winner had an interview! He joined the camp more seriously and actively.

 

 

 

It’s very worthy that many students are getting open-minded thinking on environment through Little Daejayon education. That’s why we carry “Green School” out.
