PRODUCING LITTLE DAEJAYON

On August 25, green school environmental education was held

for the DAEJAYON club in Inchang Middle School.

It was Job Experience Day,

and a student studying environment at Seoul National University participated as an instructor.

The first class was "Waste-Free School We Dream Of."

It was a meaningful time to think about wastes that are generated in school,

and what kind of resource circulation technology can be applied to reduce waste generation.

Here comes a surprise quiz!

"Animal bones, fruit seeds, nut shells, red pepper paste, and soybean paste"

What do these five things have in common?

It is all regular garbage!

Leftover food that we throw away can be recycled 100% as compost or feed

if we separate general garbage and food waste.

In addition, the students learned about biogas facilities

that produces biogas from sewage sludge

and solid refuse fuel made from household waste.

In the following session, students had time to experience campus life

in Seoul National University by solving related quizzes.

The instructor said, "Going to university cannot be a dream,"

and asked that it is important to find what you want to do.

He explained that entering university can be a way to achieve one's dream,

but it cannot be a dream itself.

Even the Seoul National University students, who seem to have no worries on their career,

are also full of worries about their careers.

It was a warm time to feel the heart of the mentor in life

who wants the Inchang students to find their dreams

without being swept away by the surrounding situation.
