ESTABLISHMENT OF GREEN SCHOOL

 

2012 Korea Good School Expo was held at Kintex, Ilsan by Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, organized by KBS and Gyeonggido Office of Education.
Good School Expo started from 2010 and it has been successful. At the second half year, 105 schools in capital area joined and schools of Yeongnam, Honam and Chungcheong area joined at the first half year. 105 exhibition stands were displayed from the high schools and kindergartens to special-education school.

 

 

Among them, Daejayon run two booths.
One was to make an eco-friendly handkerchief supporting Heungin Elementary School,

and the other was the campaign booth for standby power!

 

 

Though we couldn’t be, it is fun enough to watch the pictures.
At the Water’s Friend Campaign were to make my own eco-friendly handkerchief with Heungin Elementary School. All the people drew enthusiastically.

 

 

This was more popular than any other booths,
Even school principals were so interested in making eco-friendly handkerchief.

 

 

She really drew the earth well!
If we draw a picture with pastels and iron it, it won’t be washed out.

 

 

It seemed that she’s drawing a polar bear.

 

 

It was simple and cute so that everyone loved the drawing.

This campaign to make handkerchief was so popular that many people visited.

 

 

Our friend’s smile are cuter than the water drop?

 

 

Everything in the event hall must be fun for the friends who just got graduated kindergarten and came here.

 

 

Later, we hope to see her as a member of Little Daejayon.

 

 

He drew with his little hand with pastel. Can you see? His picture is also really small.

 

 

What are they looking at? They must be watching the samples hanged up there,
They look so surprised, right?

 

 

We were used to use a Kleenex or hand drier after washing our hands.
Instead of it, if we use a handkerchief, it is the same as planting one million trees. Did you know it?
We can make 200 round trips to the moon with a million tons of toilet paper that we use for a day.
If we have this eco-friendly handkerchief carrying always in our bag and use it after washing hands or cleaning something, we can be environmental people.
One’s honesty and values will shine through one’s behaviors rather than one’s surface.

 

 

Handkerchief campaign was run for two days.
Especially on 21st, we had a booth to make Standby Power Zero School.

She’s explicating the Standby Power with the leaflet.
We can feel her passion even from her fingers.

If they carefully listened to the panel explication, they could have a chance to take photo at the photo zone.
We hope they could make a good memory.

 

 

 

Finally, running booths for two days ended.
Many presses focused on booths of Daejayon.
Heungin Elementary School was broadcasted on-air at KBS Live Info Show with making eco-friendly handkerchief with Daejayon. 
Next year, we will prepare much more and let all school people and students know the necessity of Daejayon’s environmental education and its effectiveness.
