DAEJAYON was invited by the UAE Embassy and participated in

the 48th anniversary of the United Arab Emirates National Day.

The United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Korea is in a special strategic partnership.

There is active political and economic exchange between the two countries.

This year, DAEJAYON and the Environmental Agency of Abu Dhabi

hosted and organized Eco-Exchange Program.

High expectiations are being placed on it as it is an International Expo

where more than 200 countries, companies, organizations

and educational institutions will participate!

The UAE has declared 2019 as the year of tolerance.

The UAE is home to more than 200 nationalities.

You will know that it's a coexisting country with openness,

mutual respect and tolerance.



 We listened to Arirang performance as well as the national anthem

of both countries with Korean traditional instruments.

The sounds of Arirang and the Korean instruments were really nice. :)

The United Arab Emirates is harmonizing with seven sovereign states

for approximately 50 years since its founding

and achieved remarkable development and growth.

South Korea had diplomatic relations with the United Arab Emirates in June 1980,

and has growed together maintaing close cooperation.

Many domestic and foreign key personnels also participated.

There were many Ambassadors to Korea including the Swedish ambassador

who participated in DAEJAYON's Forum. :)

Above all, we hope South Korea and the United Arab Emirates

will become more progressing nations

in cooperation with the environment-conscious efforts. :)
