Hello! It's Kookmin University Environmental Club Tea Tree. :)

Today we had a campaign on saving paper.

We can't talk about the resources university students use the most on campus

without talking about paper.

Students print out a lot of class materials especially during the exam period.

What did you all do after you finished studying with the printed materials?

They are usually thrown away when they are no longer used for studying.

Paper waste is also a major cause of deforestation of the Earth.

According to the survey conducted at the Management Hall, Art Hall, Science Hall,

copy rooms, Bukak Hall of Kookmin University by the students of Tea Tree.

Kookmin University students consume about 454,300 sheets of paper per month!

A lot of paper is being used, isn't it?

If a student recycles 10 sheets of paper, and if we reduce the overuse of paper,

we can save 1 ton of paper and 28 tons of water and 17 trees!

We collected a lot of signatures from professors and students in support of our campaign. :)

There are a lof of things we can do in our university including cycling old books,

using scrap papers instead of buying new notebook,using eco bags, etc.

We look forward to Kookmin University students who practice paper saving!
