Today we conducted our second Zero-wastreet Project.

Zero-wastreet is a combination of "zero-waste" and "street."

It means a project to make a clean street.

In the first time, we ran a campaign from Jeongja Station to Migeum Station,

and this time, we ran a campaign from Migeum Station to Ori Station.

Whenever we used the subway, we had a lot of problems

because there were a lot of trash near the subway station.

So, we planned to carry out street cleanup activities along the subway station line.

Today was a very meaningful day

because we had a campaign at Korea National Open University near Migeum Station,

and we had Green World and Green Campus together.

Not only was there a lot of garbage near the subway station,

but there was a lot of bulky garbage on the street.

Plastics bottles, cans and plastic bags were collected.

South Korea's plastic use ranks No.1 in the world.

Of course, using plastic bottles and disposable plastic cups are convenient.

But I think it is selfish of us to abuse plastic only for our convenience.

For No-plastic, we, as environmentalists, should set an example, promote and strive first!
