Hello, this is team EDUs!

We conducted Zero-wastreet project at Jeongja Station!

Zero-Wastreet is a combination of "Zero-Waste" and "Street,"

which means a project to make a clean street without waste.

We are planing to carry out this project every two weeks along the Bundang line.

So, today was our first street cleaning campaign.

Jeongja station was very clean than we thought but there were a lot of cigarette butts.

The garbages on the street seems to have no effect on us,

but is creates a vicious sircle of environmental pollution

by instilling people with negative environmental awareness.

This is because, when people see trashes on the street 

it easily makes them throw trash on the street.

One citizen who watched our campaign, encouraged us and said,

"It makes me reflect on myself seeing university students working hard for the environment

at a time when they are busy studying.

From now on, I have to practice small things for the environment."

No matter how small the beginning may be, it is meaningful in its practice itself.

We hope our small practice will be the start in keeping the streets clean. :)
