Hello! We are Ecogardien. :)
This year, we are participating in the Plastic Free Campus Campaign
so we are proceeding various campaigns now!
Today's campaign is rice-straw campaign!
Rice-straw is one of the eco-friendly straws
that can be eaten with no harm because it is comprised of rice!
We put this rice-straw on a cafe in our university so that students can use it! :)
Like this, we made rice-straw part between the plastic straw!
We also proceeded hash tags event and gave stainless straw for presents
to people who uploaded a photo using the rice-straw on their SNS!
Holding the campaign for five days, a total of 891 rice-straws were used, 179 straws per day!
50 stainless straws were also went out of stock. :)
There are many positive opinions on the campaign like,
"I like the campaign" and "more campaigns like this will be good."
So the campaign was worthwhile to do! :)
Until our campus becomes Plastic-Free! We will work more passionately!
Until the Plastic free campus, Eco gardien will go!
