Hello, we are Amite3!
We prepared lecture about "Urban food systems" for the environmental education.
In an effort to raise awareness for our initiative,
we sought the assistance of our talented music department to hold
an open mic singing session at the student lounge!
A crowd of students soon gathered and we took that opportunity
to spread our message and furthermore dedicated a song for sustainability. :)
The jovial mood created as a result of outstanding performances by students
and we enabled to introduce our topic and spread our message
in a more unique and uplifting method!
The lecture on "Urban food systems" was held by our respected faculty architect
Amna chaudry who specialized in landscape design!
She shed light on food miles, community farming and various such other topics.
As a token of gratitude for the efforts for the lectures,
we presented her with little DIY eggshell planters to add to her garden. :)
The end of the riveting lecture was a performance by the talented drama department!
Two very exuberant actors supported by a guitarist!
It was a conversation plot between two people and
one was trying to convince another to implement a home garden.
Through this comical and witty dialogue, they addressed all the reasons
for hesitance that any individual would face while planting a garden.
The skit encourages us to stop making excuses and to finally just plant a garden right now!
These were the major efforts taken by our team Amite3
to spread and create awareness among our peers!
We will continue these efforts to ensure that everyone has a bit of green in their lives!
