90 students from Seoul National University's Banggsa, Korea University's KULAP,
and Sookmyung Women's University's Green Snow held an online seminar
on "Paper's Betrayal, Disappearing Forest" with non-members .
With the transition from the analog era to the digital era,
many people predicted that the use of paper would decrease,
but the use of paper is rather increasing.
In Korea, the average annual paper use per person is 180kg.
Among them, college students also use paper a lot.
By recycling 10 sheets of paper per college student, 17 trees would be protected.
As college students, we are operating
a Book-Recycling "GIBOOK & TAKE Book Free Zone"
where you can recycle major books you don't use and other books
with other students in order to practice paper conservation
and Green Campus Resource Recycling Campaign.
After the panel explanation and presentation,
scrap paper notes and up-cycling bookmark making activities
that can be easily made at home were conducted.
Up-cycled bookmarks were easily made
with unused movie posters, magazines, and postcards.
Everyone has completed their own up-cycling bookmarks!
We look forward to your participation in paper saving
and resource recycling campaign in everyday life and on campus.
