11. SUSTAINABLE CITIES AND COMMUNITIES

13. CLIMATE ACTION

14. LIFE BELOW WATER

15. LIFE ON LAND

17. PARTNERSHIPS FOR THE GOALS

Followed by the Polar Bear Book Shelf on the 1st floor of Shinyang Humanities Hall,

we installed GIBOOK & TAKE Book Free Zone on the 1st floor of building 200,

College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.

We assembled the bookshelf in the shape of an Asiatic black bear

with the students of environmental club Banggsa.

Asiatic black bears are endangered species which meets the IUCN Red List Vulnerability Level

due to habitat destruction, poaching.

This is why colleges which use lots of paper and books

need Green Campus Book-Cycle Campaign for the forest protection and resource circulation.

At the Book Free Zone, you can find adorable bookmarks of JAYONIE

and newsletter of Green Campus activities.

Book-Recycling would be even more exciting

when you put JAYONIE bookmark between the pages of the books you read!

Right after the installation of Gibook & Take Book Free Zone,

students participated in the Book-Recycling campaign.

Through the book-cycling of 1,000 books annually, we can reduce about 1,645kg of CO2.

We also installed the books from sponsors, YES24 and Oil Pastel Publisher.

There are also excellent environmental books selected by the Ministry of Environment.

Mother and baby Asiatic black bears are waiting for you at building 200.

So come and visit them!

Shall we move on to the hall of Seoul National University Library?

The Seoul National University & DAEJAYON & Seoul Green Campus Panel was exhibited

in the same place where the 1.5℃ Green Campus large-scale exhibit was installed last year.

Considering waste and environmental issues,

this year's Green Campus panel exhibition was produced as an eco-friendly paper exhibition.

The eyes of the students who visit the library naturally turn to the green campus panel. :)

In order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions at universities that consume energy a lot,

we hope you will participate in the Book-Recycling Resource Circulation Campaign

and Green Campus Movement.
