DAEJAYON installed bookshelf in abid to make Gibook & Take Free Zone

with the sustainable development mangement club, K-SUS, in KAIST Seoul Campus.



The wooden bookshelf that is carefully selected with students,

conveys the meaning of saving paper and protecting forests.




It must have been difficult installing the bookshelf as it was the first time installing it,

but by helping each other and sharing their thoughts, everything went successfully.



Gibook & Take Book Free Zone Bookshelf is getting its shape.

The bookshelf seems to receive a lot of attention and love

from students as it is assembled by hand.



Through Gibook & Take Book Free Zone,

we can recycle resources on campus by donating books that are no longer needed,

such as major books, language books and general books,

and receivinthe books that is needed.




If 1,000 books are cycled annually, 1,645kg CO2 can be saved.

To build a sustainable Green Campus, come to GIBOOK&TAKE Book Free Zone

located on the 5th floor, KAIST Seoul Campus College of Business.

Have you hard that Polar Bears appeared at Seoul National University on Environment Day?

DAEJAYON has conducted a special activity to meet the polar bears

with the students of Banggsa, environmental club, in the Seoul National University.


The special activity is to install the bookshelf of Gibook & Take Green Campus Zone!



Looking at the glacier with the donated books that is from online bookstore YES24

and the Crepas Book Publishing House, you might wonder which bookshelf will be made.

GIBOOK & TAKE Book Free Zone Polar Bear bookshelf has a special meaning.





Polar bears are an endangered species that is listed in the IUCN Red List.

Due to global warming, polar bears are losing their habitat.





We can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by donating books that are no longer needed,

such as major books, general books, and self-help books.
