11 SUSTAINABLE CITIES AND COMMUNITIES

12 RESPONSIBLE CONSUMPTION AND PRODUCTION

14 LIFE BELOW WATER

Team Eco-Fighters from UAE visited Korea through Eco Exchange Program!

This time, we were able to experience diverse environments and cultures of Korea

during the Eco Exchange Program schedule with the UAE students!

We visited Seoul Banpo Hangang River Park,

which shows off amazing technology and development of Korea,

and on the other hand, there was Gyeongbokgung Palace tour,

which preserves the history of the past and shows the elegance of tradition.

We were able to introduce the appearance of Korea

that is in harmony and coexistence!

We also visited the Second Lotte World Aquarium.

We were able to confirm that there were innumerable species of creatures
living in the marine ecosystem of the earth,
which we didn't recognize or understand.

Not only did we see marine life, but also learned the need to protect marine ecosystems.

The exhibition hall itself was so beautiful and amazing!

We couldn't keep our eyes off the beauty of the various creatures in the Aquarium!

Some fish emit light from their bodies!

We also greeted Dolphin Beluga who has extremely large body!

We couldn't help but take pictures of the cute penguins who were so charming!

It's not easy to see a penguin in the Arabic countries because the weather is hot.

The UAE students loved the penguins so much. :)

After that, we visited Gyeongbokgung Palace.
We also experienced Korean traditional clothes “Hanbok”!

The colors and patterns of the hanbok were so diverse and sophisticated

that we found it more fun and beautiful.

Gyeonghoeru Pavilion was especially beautiful,

which was used to greet guests from overseas or to hold banquets.

If the team Eco-Fighters visited during the Joseon Dynasty,

there must have been a feast held here at Gyeonghoeru Pavilion.

And don't forget the Seoul Upcycling Plaza that gave us so much inspiration and ideas!

Although people can't live without making or throwing things away,

it was up to our little practice and mind to use the product well

and upcycle it to protect the environment!

The reason why the tour in Seoul Upcycling Plaza was even more special was because

Choi Byung-un, from the business team of the Upcycling Plaza,

was in charge of the tour guide.

He guided us through the museum, explaining where each part came from

and how they could be reused and have a new value!

Seeing piano keyboards and old books becoming part of the lamp design,

and the pieces of wood coming together to create new works of art,

we though that 'If we upcycle the discarded items of the school,

can we make something valuable?' :)

The students experienced the beautiful environment

and appearance of Korea even during the short visit.

We have pledged to work harder to protect this beautiful environment!
Way to go, Green Leaders all over the world!
