GREEN CAMPUS ACTIVITY

Finally! Today KGCAUS(Korea Green Campus Association of University Student) gathered here, Young Leader Community!

This program is conducted in Korea National Park Eco-Learning Institute located in gate of Bukhan Mountain.

Korea university’s KUSEP, Dongnam Health College, Eulji University’s New Ryu, Kyunghee University’s Hannuri, Shingu College’s Nature+, University of Incheon’s Green-I, Inha University’s Green Promise, Yonsei University’s G.A.Green, Sookmyung Women’s University’s Green Snow, University of Suwon’s Green Action, Chungang University’s Green Square and Hanyang University’s Greenday gathered.

This KGCAUS Young Leader Community is arranged to share the activities that we have done to make Green Campus since the inauguration ceremony and to make time for communication.

So we drew lots to organize new team to communicate with each university.

 

We prepared this program so fun and meaningfully! It already looks so interesting, isn’t it?

 

 

 

After done the organizing team, students sat with their own team.
Let me introduce the MC for this program! He is Kim Cheol-ung, a KGCAUS’s vice president.
His words are so witty and joyful. He made us laugh every minute.

 

 

Let’s see the teams that look a little bit awkward.
Team 2’s name is “GEUJI” which means a beggar in Korea (they chose this name to give a laugh), meaning Green Earth. At first, they are so silent that they were called silent team.

 

 

 

It’s “TUBI” (a character from Teletubbies program) team. They played very active in their chant.

 

 

Team 4, “EADLE” which means children in Korea is combination of various environmental clubs.

 

 

Team 5 is “AREEMDAUN GUEDAE” which means a beautiful Green Campus in English.

 

 

Today’s program is conducted with 5 teams.
And it’s time to present each team’s chant to become friendly.
Most of all, TUBI team’s chant is so funny and lovely.

 

 

 

 

They became almost best friends in a short time to make team’s name and chant.

 

 

 

 

It’s time to lunch.
We prepared special lunch for university students who have worked hard to make Green Campus.

 

 

 

After joyful lunch time, we started next program.
At this time, Jung Su-jin, a KGCAUS vice president, presented KGCAUS’s activity since the inauguration ceremony until now.

 

 

 

And next is young leader’s SNS, we had time to study how to use KGCAUS’s new homepage and what to do as environmental reporters.
 

 

And our most favorite program, environmental recreation!!
The game rule is to explain an environmental word only using body language.

 

 

 

 

 

Eventually, ILHAKNYEON(meaning freshman) win the prize of environmental recreation!
