GREEN CAMPUS ACTIVITY

When we just visit stationery stores, a lovely and well-designed note attracts us and we bought and these notes just had piled up. Everyone has this kind of experiences. Note is necessary for students. 

 

There is a nice club that is using notes made of used paper.
They are Hanyang University environmental club “Greenday.”

 

 

Greenday carried out the campaign to give green notes with recycled paper.

 

 

Kim Geun-woo, the president of Greenday, made the green notes.

 

 

On the same day, Greenday played a “Standby Power Speed Game” as well.
So students had a good time to think environment instead of study.

 

 

 

 

 

First, which grade is the most effective grade from 5 to 1? It could be easy but not many people knew.

 

 

The answer is 1 grade.
And second, what kind of electric power called as a vampire power?
The answer is Standby Power.

 

 

Standby Power means electricity used by appliances and equipment while they are switched off or not performing their primary function. Unplugging or using extension cord can save the standby power.
It is shocking that 500 billion won (450 million dollars) is wasted every year because of standby power.

Let’s habituate to unplug all of resting electronics.

Lastly, students signed a signature, promising to use green notes from now.
