GREEN CAMPUS ACTIVITY

Last July, Daejayon visited Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia.
Ulaanbaatar means red hero and is located at an altitude of 1,350 meters.
Mongolia is 7.4 times bigger than South Korea and the half of the people live in capital.
July 6th, 2012, Daejayon met the dean of The National University of Mongolia.

The dean was pleased that university students consider and move for an environment. And he promised to support Daejayon’s activity.

When we explained about IGCAUS establishment, the dean thought it positively and let Daejayon contact with students of campus group.

After 10 days, Daejayon had a meeting with the dean of biological college of National University of Mongolia. In this meeting, we introduced Daejayon and the activity of IGCAUS.

Especially the dean speaks Korean very well so this meeting was amicable.

The dean thought positively about the activity of Daejayon.
He offered words of encouragement to students of Daejayon.
And he said he hope to go on discussion for establishment of IGCAUS with National University of Mongolia.

Lastly, Daejayon presented a gift.

We hope that many university student environmental leaders are trained in Mongolia as well.
