GREEN CAMPUS ACTIVITY

DAEJAYON hosted the Net Zero Festival with the Hallym University's environmental club Refet.

We displayed paper panel 'From 51 billion tons to 0'

to raise awareness of Net Zero among students at Hallym University.

Every year we emit 51 billion tons of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.

As CO₂ emissions increase, the global temperature rises.

And zero (0) is the goal we should achieve.

Among the greenhouse gas emissions, human behavior accounts for 31% of manufacture,

27% of electricity production, 19% of breeding and cultivation, 16% of transportation,

and 7% of heating and cooling.

At the DIY eco bag and scandiamos frame booth,

 you could learn about Net Zero and participate in the eco-friendly experience activity!

Many people might have thought they should use tumblers

to reduce the use of disposable cups for the environment

but couldn't use because it is inconvenient or tiresome.

At those time use can easily carry tumblers by carrying your own tumbler eco bag!

People made their own unique tumbler bag,

writing words and drawing characters they like with fabric marker

Beside was the Scandiamos frame booth.

Scandiamos is a natural moss.

The activity is making a frame with colorful scandiamos.

Scandiamos grows by controlling the humidity of the surrounding environment without water.

Moreover, it not only looks pretty but also purifies the air and removes fine dust.

So, the students joyfully participated in the activity!
